　　In my opinion, it is not so easy to be a hero. First,a hero must be brave. When he sees someone do a bad deed, he must be brave enough to catch him or to stop him. I think the most important reason is that people dont want to mind other peoples business. Because they think it will do them no good. But I think society calls for heroes. Fighting against crimes is not just the job of the police. Its the duty of every citizen.

　　Competition promotes further development of society. If there were no competition, people would remain complacent and be unwilling to make any efforts or risk anything new. However, with fierce competition going on, they exert themselves to accomplish more. Their accomplishment will, in one way or another, contribute to the progress of society。

　　I hesitate for a moment after writing down the title of this article， because I've no idea where to start this story。 My girl friend definitely can not be described by only a few words。 Some times she turns to me and asks "Why do you love me?" I am always stuck at that moment and then after a minute or two utter a few words "Because you're so good。" I know my vague answer never satisfies her。 But how can I reply otherwise?

　　Yes， she's so good。 There're numerous examples I can cite to illustrate her tenderness， delicacy， warmth and her genuine love for me。 A call on the cold winter night， a surprising birth day gift， a pair of gloves that warm up not only my hands， so many times has my heart melted into a sentiment called "being moved"。

　　I'm not a good tempered guy。 However， my girlfriend never loses her temper whenever I am not in a good mood or even say sharp words to her。 At that time， she'd look at me with great care and touch my hands with hers to calm me down。That's her graceful manner to show her deepest concern。

　　I have never written a love letter to her though I've received many from my dearest girlfriend。 It's not that I'm unwilling to compose one， but that I find it impossible to convey my feelings to her with written words。 We've been in love for more than one year。 But if once more asked to give reasons why I love her， I guess I'd still say because she's so good。

　　I can't further this generalized answer into details because it takes me lifetime to do so。

　　It is not difficult to find that what the picture intends to express is the importance of saving and protecting resources. On the one hand, as we all know, water resource is limited and water shortage is still a serious problem threatening the existence and survival of the whole human being. On the other hand, the phenomenon of wasting water can still be easily found anywhere in our daily life. For example, water taps are frequently left on by careless users. Someone even assumes that they have the right to waste water because they pay for it o that it has nothing to do with others. In fact, so precious water is that we cannot afford to waste it. First of all, social environment is shaped by the general public, and the cultivation of conservation-minded society depends on the active involvement of every member of our society, be he old or young. Accordingly, an education campaign should be launched to call on people from all walks of life to save and protect resources. In addition, saving and protecting resources is bound up with our daily life. We, college students, should spare no efforts to save valuable energy and natural resources such as power, water, coal, gas and so on. Only by the joint efforts of the whole society can we create a real conservation-minded society.
