It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.
Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people's lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

We have sacrificed so much to chase the profit. If we can't save the environment, we won't live the comfortable life. For us, we should not throw away the rubbish and plant more trees. The little things we do will make a great difference.
今天，中國經(jīng)濟取得了巨大成就，越來越多的外國人來到中國尋求合作。在過去的幾十年里，人們的生活水平確實有了很大的提高，但是環(huán)境卻受到了嚴(yán)重的污染。當(dāng)我很小的.時候，我看到的家鄉(xiāng)是綠樹環(huán)繞、水源清澈，但是現(xiàn)在，河流變小了，到處都可以看到垃圾。我覺得很難過。為了追求利益，我們犧牲了那么多，如果我們不能拯救環(huán)境，就不能過上舒適的生活。對我們來說，我們不應(yīng)該亂丟垃圾，而應(yīng)該種植更多的樹木，我們所做的每一件小事都會對我們產(chǎn)生影響。
