I am writing to inform you of my resignation, effective July 15. Although I have enjoyed my position as Speech Pathologist1, I have accepted another position where I feel my diverse2 skills are more full utilized3.
寫此信通知您我將于7月15日辭職。雖然我很喜歡現(xiàn)任語言病理學(xué)家職位,但我已接受一份新的工作,相信該工作能更充分地發(fā)揮我多樣化的技能。
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience I had with Any University. Both the staff and the students were great to work with. I wish you much luck with the approaching academic year.

1. Effective September16*, I will be terminating my employment with ABC Company.
"effective" 即 being in effect or operative
例句:"The summer day light saving time is effective May 30."
9月16日,我將結(jié)束與ABC公司的雇傭關(guān)系(我將從ABC公司辭職)。
2. I write to tender * my resignation from office. My last day of employment will be June 16.
"tender" 動(dòng)詞, 即"to offer" 或 "to present for acceptance"
寫此信的目的是提請(qǐng)辭職。6月16日是我上班最后一天。
3. After much deliberation*, I have decided to move out of the private sector and go back to college.
"deliberation"即 careful consideration 或 a debate within oneself or by a group of people for or against a measure
例句:" The managers could not be hurried in their deliberation."
經(jīng)過慎重考慮,我決定辭去私人企業(yè)的工作,回學(xué)校念書。
4. I regret having to leave a situation * where I have received so much kindness and made so many friends.
"situation" 指的是 "place of employment"
很遺憾我不得不離開這個(gè)給了我很多關(guān)懷與友誼的部門。
5. My experience at ABC Company has been both educational and rewarding*.
"rewarding" 即satisfying
我在ABC公司的經(jīng)歷既有教育意義,又令人滿意。
6. However, I find it absolutely necessary to seek an appointment* which can enable me to earn a higher salary to cope with the growing high cost of living.
"appointment" 和 "situation"一字相仿 , 代表 a place of employment 或 a job之意
然而我覺得有必要更換工作,以便賺取更高的薪水來應(yīng)付日益增長的生活消費(fèi)指數(shù)。
7. I take this opportunity to * thank you for the wonderful experience I had with ABC Company.
另一表達(dá)方式: "I take this opportunity of thanking you for the wonderful experience I had with ABC Company,"
借此機(jī)會(huì),為我在ABC公司的愉快經(jīng)歷向您表示感謝。
8. I have concluded that I can no longer function * effectively when the policies followed by the headquarters * fail to provide the support I need as a regional manager.
"function"即 operate 或 carry on one's duty; "headquarters" 總是以復(fù)數(shù)形式出現(xiàn), 代表 the administrative center of an enterprise 之意
我已經(jīng)下了結(jié)論,當(dāng)總部執(zhí)行的政策無法為我這位地區(qū)經(jīng)理提供必要的支持,我將無法有效地勝任這個(gè)職位。
9. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make my departure a smooth one *.
"one" 是代詞, 指代前面的名詞 " departure"; 它有時(shí)也可指代后面的名詞 , 如: "The basketball players who score the most are not always the ones with the best brains."
我離職之前如何做好銜接工作,請(qǐng)告知。
10. If I can be of assistance in recommending potential replacement * for my position, I would be more than happy* to help.
"replacement" 即 one that replaces another in a job or function;
"more than happy" 即"very happy"
我很樂意幫忙推薦有潛力的人選代替我的職位。
11. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with and learn from such an outstanding staff*.
"staff"指的是 group of workers who carry on a job or do the work of a company
感謝您提供給我這樣一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)能與出色的員工一起工作,并向他們學(xué)習(xí)。
12. I have thoroughly enjoyed time at this company and regret having to abandon my work.
"abandon" 即 leave completely and for ever
我很喜歡在這個(gè)公司里度過的時(shí)光,也很遺憾不得不放棄這份工作。
