5A Module 3 Unit 3 Follow the signs!教學(xué)說(shuō)明 (Extending lesson: Follow the signs at the airport.)   一、學(xué)生情況分析 該班學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)科有著濃厚的興趣,能積極主動(dòng)參與課堂活動(dòng)?傮w基礎(chǔ)較好,整體水平較高。由于我校的特殊性,我們的教材除了牛津教材外,還有一本朗文教材。學(xué)生在聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)方面的能力都略勝一籌。 該班學(xué)生是我從一年級(jí)一手帶上來(lái)的。師生之間默契度很高。孩子們喜歡表演,擅長(zhǎng)表演。很多學(xué)生在語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)方面很不錯(cuò)。 學(xué)生們對(duì)signs話題以及相關(guān)的知識(shí)點(diǎn)在以往的學(xué)習(xí)中已經(jīng)比較清楚。對(duì)于從句也有了一定的了解,并能簡(jiǎn)單運(yùn)用。大部分孩子都有出國(guó)經(jīng)歷,對(duì)國(guó)外文化以及中西方文化差異也有相應(yīng)的了解。   二、教材分析與教學(xué)目標(biāo)分析 本單元的主題是Follow the signs,這一主題在以往的學(xué)習(xí)中已有涉及,學(xué)生能熟練運(yùn)用:The sign says/means/… Don’t…, 另外,勸導(dǎo)阻止別人的時(shí)候也能用You can’t… because…簡(jiǎn)單描述原因。 在本單元中,語(yǔ)法重點(diǎn)為Don’t… It’s dangerous. You can’t… Why not?等句型,已經(jīng)在前幾教時(shí)中基本解決。本課除了要求學(xué)生將這些內(nèi)容在情景中進(jìn)一步復(fù)習(xí)鞏固和運(yùn)用外,還引入了shouldn’t, prohibited,以及介紹機(jī)場(chǎng)里一些重要的標(biāo)示。 學(xué)生們對(duì)公共場(chǎng)合里的大部分signs的意思已經(jīng)很熟悉。本節(jié)課在機(jī)場(chǎng)里展開(kāi),將signs進(jìn)行初步分類。并對(duì)容易誤解的sign進(jìn)行介紹,讓學(xué)生清晰。 本節(jié)課里最重要的是進(jìn)行文化滲透。雖然很多學(xué)生都有出國(guó)的經(jīng)歷,但其實(shí)對(duì)機(jī)場(chǎng)里一些signs還是有疑惑的。本節(jié)課圍繞機(jī)場(chǎng)里需要遵守的規(guī)定以及一些指示信息的sign展開(kāi),進(jìn)行文化的滲透。 三、教學(xué)策略分析 本課的設(shè)計(jì)始終貫徹了“以學(xué)生發(fā)展為本”的原則: 1、活動(dòng)形式多樣 在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,我設(shè)計(jì)了多種組織形式展開(kāi)活動(dòng),有個(gè)人、兩人、小組和全班性的。學(xué)習(xí)形式也是各有不同,有個(gè)人、兩人對(duì)話、小組合作、全班問(wèn)答、集體回答等。選擇學(xué)生時(shí),既有抽學(xué)生答、開(kāi)火車操練,小組集體問(wèn)答等。有教師指導(dǎo)性的,也有需學(xué)生獨(dú)立或合作完成的操練。 2、教學(xué)分層推進(jìn) 在各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì)中,我根據(jù)學(xué)生已有知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)對(duì)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)逐步推進(jìn)。如,本節(jié)課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)是介紹在機(jī)場(chǎng)里的signs。我將機(jī)場(chǎng)里的signs初步分成關(guān)于rules和information的標(biāo)志。在介紹rules的標(biāo)志時(shí)又分成學(xué)生熟悉的以及會(huì)產(chǎn)生誤解的。 3、課時(shí)容量加大 本節(jié)課的容量較大,除了教師必要的指令、指導(dǎo)的語(yǔ)言之外,盡可能的創(chuàng)造條件讓學(xué)生得到語(yǔ)言訓(xùn)練、才能展示的機(jī)會(huì)。從內(nèi)容上看,新授了shouldn’t, prohibited的用法。并讓學(xué)生在真實(shí)的機(jī)場(chǎng)安檢的情境中將前兩課時(shí)的語(yǔ)言融合運(yùn)用。 在介紹候機(jī)廳里的標(biāo)志時(shí),除了幫助學(xué)生理解Smoke-free的真正含義,還介紹了Prayer room.拓展學(xué)生的知識(shí)面以及進(jìn)行文化的滲透。 最后通過(guò)寫(xiě)信的方式,讓學(xué)生將整節(jié)課的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行反饋。并在結(jié)尾和我們即將要去的秋游結(jié)合,升華主題。 4、聯(lián)系生活緊密 從教學(xué)情境的設(shè)置、學(xué)習(xí)材料的組織方面看,我選用了學(xué)生比較熟悉、與學(xué)生實(shí)際生活緊密聯(lián)系的材料,構(gòu)建了激發(fā)學(xué)生積極表達(dá)的情境。(因?yàn)槲覀兊膶W(xué)生大都有出國(guó)游學(xué)的經(jīng)歷)。如,本課的引入部分,我選用了學(xué)生游學(xué)的照片,喚起他們的回憶。盡管他們對(duì)機(jī)場(chǎng)并不陌生,但還是有些標(biāo)示,孩子們平時(shí)沒(méi)有注意或者不理解的。由幫助Mr Huang開(kāi)始,開(kāi)始今天的課程。 5、聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)并駕齊驅(qū) 全面提高學(xué)生的聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)能力是小學(xué)中高年級(jí)的一項(xiàng)重要任務(wù)。因此在本節(jié)課的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)中,我將四種能力的訓(xùn)練分別滲透在不同環(huán)節(jié)中。在不同的任務(wù)中訓(xùn)練四方面的能力。 Oxford English 5A Module 3 Unit 3 Follow the signs (Extending lesson: Follow the signs at the airport.)   School: Fushan Foreigner Language Primary School Subject: English Teacher: Zhu Hong ( Lucy Zhu ) Date: Nov. 8th, 2010 Content Oxford English 5A Module 3 Unit 3 Follow the signs. Listen and answer: What shouldn’t we take on the plane?   2.  Talk freely: Where else do we have Security Check ? What signs can we see there? 3.  Show a short video at airport lounge: A man and a woman are quarreling about whether people can smoke in ‘Smoke-free Zone’ or not.   3. Show two small passages about ‘free’.           4. Show signs of information in the airport lounge: What information can we get from these signs?     5. Reading comprehension: Prayer rooms at Sydney Airport.     Ss answer the question.             Act out as the safety inspector and the passenger/visitor.     Watch the video and express their opinions.               Ss read and deduce. Learn the true meaning of the sign ‘Smoke-free Zone’.       Look at the signs and talk about them. The sign with a cup tells/shows us… We can… there.       Read the passage about ‘prayer room’ and pick the key information. To teach Ss new patterns: You shouldn’t take…on the plane. …is/are prohibited.   More practice to consolidate the sentence pattern.     A way to show students’ own thinking about ‘free’.           To help them to learn the new phrase according to the former knowledge.     Help students to express their understandings about signs they know.       Enhance students’ reading abilities and let them know the culture of ‘faith’. Post-task activity                     1. Show an unfinished letter to Mr Huang: Let’s help him.       2. Show some pictures of coming outing. Question: Do we see any signs? Can we spit/litter…?   Write a letter in groups and tell Mr Huang the important signs at Sydney Airport.     Enjoy the pictures and read a poem, feeling: even without signs, we should obey the rules.     Help students to write down their ideas.       Help students feel that: signs around us and in our hearts.   Assignments 1 Make a chart from the entrance to the boarding gate.
