Dry January 一月戒酒

Dry January is a custom of abstaining1 from alcohol for the month of January, particularly practised in the United Kingdom.  “一月戒酒”指的是在一月戒掉酒精的一種習(xí)慣，這種習(xí)俗一般指在英國。   In Britain, it's bottoms up from the week before Christmas till the last firework explodes in the sky announcing the new year. The last Friday before Christmas - popularly known as 'Mad Friday' - is one of the busiest periods for the country's pubs and clubs.  在英國，從圣誕節(jié)前一周，一直到煙火點(diǎn)燃夜空宣告新年來臨，這段時(shí)間人們都很愛喝酒。圣誕節(jié)前的最后一個(gè)周五（也就是“瘋狂的周五”）是英國酒吧和俱樂部最忙的一天。
